ANOTHER National Trust house is open in time for Easter.

Castle Drogo, near Drewsteignton, opens its doors to the public again today.

This follows the announcement last week that nine other properties would also be opening around the Easter period.

In addition, Widecombe shop is also open for business.

Director for Devon, Michael Cook said: 'We have made the decision to open using the criteria approved by MAFF about foot and mouth disease following local consultations.

'We look forward to welcoming visitors to our houses and gardens once more.'

Castle Drogo has its new features for this season — including a recreation of a stonemason's hut.

This comes complete with displays of tools and masonry based on what would have been used while the castle was being built in the early part of the 20th century.
