AN opening stand of 161 by Ben Griffiths (67) and Andy Yates (71) secured a 20-point victory at Polson Bridge for Bridestowe.
They were supported by M Fogerty (41) and S Yates (40), while Bridestowe accrued 165 for 4, with John Davy being the pick of Launceston?s bowlers with two wickets for 61 runs.
After tea Launceston?s batsmen were unable to attack the Bridestowe bowling and steadily lost their wickets to register only 78 runs in 26 overs.
J Davey with 33 runs was the pick of the Launceston batsmen, earning him the Launceston?s man of the match title.
