A DOG puissance jumping competition will provide additional entertainment at the Buckland Horse and Family Dog Show next month. After last year, when the show had to be cancelled twice due to weather and the threat of Foot and Mouth, organisers are determined the show will go ahead as planned on Sunday, May 11. There will be a slight change in format this year, with the showjumping ring being twice as big as previously, with BSJA approved jumps. The two dog jumping classes will be staged in the middle of the day, with one round being against the clock and the second being a puissance with the jump getting higher each round.
