WWA 29 Dodgers 15 TAVISTOCK Netball league returned after the Christmas break with two exciting Sunday morning matches. The first match saw current league title holders WWA face new team Dodgers. WWA took an early lead in the first quarter and despite hardwork and much enthusiasm, from the Dodgers, they were unable to get back on level terms. WWA went on to further their lead in the second half with impressive shooting from WWA goal attack Nikki Millings. Both teams played extremely well and in the final quarter WWA built on their established lead. Nominated players WWA Nikki Milling (GA), Dodgers Michelle Evely (GK). The second game was also fast paced and well fought with on form shooting from both teams. Delaware ended the first quarter ahead after superb shooting from GA Jo Fry. However by the end of the second quarter the lead had switched and SSG led by two goals, largely down to good team work between SSG?s shooters. The game continued with the lead changing between the two teams right until the final thirty seconds of the game, when as the whistle was blown, both teams were drawing level.
