WALKERS can join the Dartmoor Preservation Association for a walk to examine some of the evidence of a glacial ice-cap on northern Dartmoor on Tuesday, April 9.
Quaternary scientists recently argued Dartmoor was not just a peri-glacial landscape in the Ice Ages, but that it had a small ice cap. The walk starts at 10am at Postbridge main car park. Contact Bob Bruce on 01752 837564 to book a place.
