THE work of popular wildlife and country artist Dick?Twinney is now available at Tavistock's Mayflower Galleries — it is the first time since the 1970s that the Cornish artist's paintings have been sold this side of the Tamar.

Gallery owner Tony Whitehead, pictured right with Mr Twinney, said he was delighted the artist had chosen the gallery to sell his work in?Devon: 'His wildlife studies are of an outstanding quality in a traditional style which will sit well alongside the work of our stable of West Country artists.'

Mr?Twinney's work is on either Gessoed Masonite or canvas panels in chromacolour, a specialist form of acrylic that gives a sharp and luminous quality.
