DEVON and Cornwall Police are asking youngsters in West Devon to get their thinking caps on in a competition to design the force's official Christmas card.
Entitled Your Perspective, the police are asking young people between the ages of 16 and 18 to produce an original image using graphic design, CAD, art or photography that depicts Christmas from their point of view. The competition follows on the success of a similar event last year, aimed at young children.
Chief Constable Maria Wallis will choose a winning design for the force card, which will be sent out by officers locally, nationally and internationally.
The winner of the competition will also receive a digital camera, with the two runners-up receiving vouchers for £50 each.
Entries should be sent to Your Perspective, Public Relations Department, Devon House, Police HQ, Middlemoor, Exeter, Devon EX2 7HQ. The closing date is October 31.
