A NEW headmaster at Kelly College Preparatory School will take over in September.

Matthew Foale is currently deputy head at the school and will succeed Richard Stevenson, who is moving to a headship in Dorset.

Prior to joining Kelly Prep in January 2009, Mr Foale was deputy head at Orley Farm School in Harrow. He is married to Marie-Claire and they have three children, Mia, 14, Bella, 4, and Jude, 3.

He said: 'I have thoroughly enjoyed the time I have already spent at Kelly Prep and the school is a wonderful environment for all the children to flourish.

'There is a real buzz throughout the whole school community and I am very excited about the tremendous opportunities that lie ahead to take the school forward.'
