RECENTLY we have moved from Portsmouth to Bere Alston. The one thing my children miss is the fabulous skate/BMX park that is run by Portsmouth City Council on the sea front at Southsea.

Imagine then, our total delight, when a we discovered Taviskate on Sunday in the glorious sunshine. What fun and how well behaved and good mannered the participants were. Well done, Taviskate.

Come on, Tavistock, surely a ramp is not sufficient for these harmless people to have great exercise, socialise and not be a nuisance to pedestrians and road users while pursuing their sport.
