PUPILS at Miss Trudi's School of Dance are celebrating after passing their dance examinations with flying colours.

A total of 138 pupils were entered in to examinations and a 100% pass rate was achieved — marking a great start to the school's 15th year celebrations.

Top marks of distinction were awarded to Claire Pritchard and Antonia D'Alessio for their grade 5 modern; Jack Matthews for his grade 1 tap; Hannah Watson for her junior modern medal; Lindsay Bright, Wendy Kingswell and Emma Kingswell for their level one adult tap, and Olivia Windsar for her pre-level one adult tap.

All juvenile and junior ballet and modern medal test pupils gained high merits as did most of the pupils who took graded tap exams in grades 1, 2, 3 and 5.

All the 3 to 6-year-olds who performed a ballet dance and a song and dance for their rainbow awards received passes and merits.
