OKEHAMPTON Squash Club's ladies' and men's teams played Golf and Country Club last week and both sustained defeats.
The ladies lost away, four matches to one, the only victory coming from Sue Stanbury 3-0, who still has not lost a match.
The men also lost at home by three games to two, Steve Yeo going down 3-0, Arnie Searle losing 3-1 and a new addition to the team, Jim Massey, just losing 3-2.
Wins from Robert Barkwell, 3-2, and Martin Leyton, 3-1, kept the point loss respectable.
Next match October 13, the first round of the cup at home.
