TWO teams from Mount House School took part in the inter-schools mini equestrian one-day event at Stonar School in Melksham. This was the first time Mount House has entered teams in an equestrian event. The Mount House Red team was Tommy Lyon- Smith on Matthew, Harry McKelvey riding Birchill Brigadier, Henry Wells on Izzy and India Lewis on Robbie. All four team members rode very well and India Lewis and Harry McKelvey both achieved double clears in the show jumping and cross- country, to help their team finish 15th out of a field of 50 teams. The Blue team consisted of Madeleine Lewis on Rosie, Barnaby Treneer riding Miligan and Edward Barlow on Misty also made an impressive debut. l Pictured above: The Mount House Red team mini equestrian one-day event.
