FOLLOWING the death of David 'Shep' Shepherd — a great, friend and vice-president of Tavistock Cricket Club — it is sad to report the death of his only brother Bill who was also an honorary VP of the club.

Bill was taken ill over Christmas and, following a short illness, died on January 19. 

Both Shep and Bill played in the annual President's Day game at The Ring for many years until their last match together in 1992.

* Bill's funeral takes place at Instow church in North Devon on Friday (tomorrow) at 12 noon.
