THE DEATH of a man in Belstone on Tuesday is not being treated as suspicious.

Police attended the higher green in the village during the early hours of the morning. A force helicopter and armed response unit were also reported to be in attendance. Villagers awoke to find the centre of the village taped off by police.

Police confirmed there had been no-one else involved in the man's death.
