FIRE crews from North Tawton and Okehampton were mobilised to reports of a road traffic collision at De Bathe Cross on the A3072 near North Tawton at 9am on Thursday January 6.

The special rescue vehicle from Exmouth was also called, as there were reports of people trapped in the vehicle.

On arrival, however, the crews discovered there was nobody trapped, and made the area safe.
