IN this Jubilee and Olympic year, St Peter's Church in Peter Tavy was filled with the colours, sights and scents of many corners of the globe during the village's recent flower festival.

A talented team created beautiful arrangements depicting countries around the Commonwealth. Together with an exhibition in the village hall and delicious refreshments in the chapel, the festival raised a wonderful £1,700 for village funds.
