AN outing to Exmouth did not go without incident for the Tavistock Physically Challenged Group, whose minibus turned out to be a stick-in-the-mud!

The group had planned a day out to Sandybay Wildlife Park at Exmouth recently, but while picking members up the minibus became stuck in some mud. Group member Mark Ralph said it took the driver a lot of time and effort to try to free it and he ended up 'splattered with mud and looking like John Cleese in Clockwise'!

The rest of the day was very enjoyable and passed without incident — apart from the escape of an eagle owl from the falconry show, but that was successfully recaptured.
