ZEAL were always on top during this Devon Senior cup match on Saturday but went a goal down after 15 minutes when Tipton scored from 12 yards out with a shot that gave Adam Cann in the Zeal goal no chance.
Zeal were always dangerous and drew level soon after when Nick Pollard was brought down in the penalty area and Tom Reilly stepped up to coolly convert the penalty.
Zeal went 2-1 up 5 minutes later when John Halliday hit a screamer into the roof of the Tipton net. Zeal then went 2 up when some good passing between Harley Cann and Nick Pollard saw Nick convert from the narrowest of angles.
Just as it looked as if Zeal would go in 3-1 up at half time the away side were awarded a penalty after a challenge from Scott Hooper. The penalty was converted so the teams turned round at half time with Zeal leading 3-2.
In the second half Zeal dominated play but saw chances to make the game safe go begging until with 10 minutes left Nick Pollard hit a great angled shot into the far corner putting Zeal into the next round.
