wA DARTMOOR Border Morris dancer and foreman will feature in the video diary on this Sunday?s BBC Countryfile programme. Sue Jones was followed for a day by a film crew who wanted a view of morris dancing from a female perspective. She said: ?A film crew followed me around with a camera all day and up on the moor, before I prepared for the evening dance out which was at the Royal Oak, Meavy. ?It was a bit nerve racking ? but very exciting to show Morris to a wider audience. I?m not sure what the final cut will look like, but hopefully it will be fun to watch.? Sue has danced with several local Morris sides and is currently responsible for teaching the dances with Dartmoor border. The programme will be broadcast on BBC1 this Sunday (July 22) at 11am.
