DANCING styles from around the world will be demonstrated at a weekend of workshops to mark the centenary year of the Margaret Morris Movement later this month.

Adults and young people over 13 years, are being invited to try their hand at Argentine tango, salsa, Egyptian belly dance, Scottish country dancing, American jive, classical Indian, line dancing, Bollywood and even Maypole dancing at the Princetown Village Centre.

The weekend of workshops will take place on July 17 and 18, from 10am to 4pm each day. The workshops will cost adults £15 per day, or £25 for the weekend, with concessions for children, young people and mature movers.

On the Saturday (July 17) there will also be a children's dance afternoon for young people aged between eight and 12 years, and a chair-based dance workshop on the Sunday for the less agile.
