LINE dancers from Harrowbarrow have recently handed over a donation of £1,000 to Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW).

The line dancing class meets every Thursday night at the village hall and have raised the money from their class fees and refreshments.

The donation has been made to CHSW which supports local children with complex medical needs and their families, through its three children’s hospices in the South West.

Zoe Partridge, community fundraiser for CHSW in the area, said: ‘On behalf of all of the children and families we support at Little Harbour I would like to thank Harrowbarrow line dancers for their generous annual donation and their ongoing support.

‘It costs around £3-million a year to run Little Harbour so donations like this are vital to us being able to continue our support for families.’
