A CYCLIST from Harrowbarrow who was killed in a head-on collision with a car near Callington on June 18 has been named as 61-year-old Ronald Traise. The accident occurred in School Road, Higher Metherell, around 8pm and involved a red Mazda MX5 sports car. Mr Traise was taken to Derriford Hospital where he died a few hours later. The driver of the car, a 49-year-old man from Liskeard, was unhurt. Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision, or the events leading up to it to contact MPC Martin Pattinson at Bodmin Traffic Centre on 08452 777444 quoting log number 1402 180605.
