TWO former Kelly College students battled severe weather conditions to cycle 956 miles across the UK.
Mathew and Malcolm Rushbrooke, who attended Kelly College in the late 1980s/early 90s and are now in their 30s, undertook the challenge of cycling from Land's End to John O'Groats to raise money for Cancer Research.
Their back up team, consisting of wives Louise and Paula and 16 month-old daughter Elsie, supported the cyclists at all times from a couple of old fashioned VW vans. Luckily the cycling pair only suffered one puncture between them.
The men have so far managed to raise more than £4,000 for the charity.
