SEVEN Quad bike riders from Bere Alston took part in the 23rd world famous Somerset motorcycle enduro event, the Weston-Super-Mare beach race recently. The three hour endurance race was over a course consisting of a mile straight followed by a further two miles of twisting track with 40 sand dunes, some reaching 20ft in height to tackle. All team members did incredibly well over a very demanding track and although some are nursing a few cuts, bruises and achy muscles they all gave an outstanding effort.
