THANK you to all our customers for their support throughout the past year with fundraising for Mencap our charity of the year. To date we have raised almost £3,000 in store with various events.

We have just finished a three-day Christmas event involving a colouring competition at the primary school, the local Edwardian Evening, the cake stall, also Father Christmas's visit to the store saw lots of excited children and made the day a great success. Thanks to the Round Table for all their help.

We continue to support local events through our community fund and our ongoing support of the foodbank continues, they have had a cash donation of £400 and have been issued with a discount card for the Co-operative. Chris delivers large orders to them most Thursdays and we feel happy to be a part of such a worthwhile local community effort. We have a permanent donation basket by the door which continues to be well supported.

It would not be possible without all our customers' support and the great team of volunteers we have within the store.
