TEDDY bears will go to church this Sunday, September 12, when Tavistock Parish Church holds a special service to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the St Eustachius' Mother and Baby Group.
This will be an act of worship for everyone in the family and it is hoped both young and 'older' will bring their favourite teddy bears with them to enjoy a different service from the familiar pattern at St Eustachius.
It will be what the Church of England terms 'A Service of the Word' rather than a celebration of communion.
All are invited to come along and bring their teddy bear or any other favourite cuddly friend.
There will be refreshments for teddy bear owners after the service, which starts at 9.45am.
