FOR the fourth season, Chagford Cricket Club will again have the services of the West Indian international cricketer Prakash Joshi as player, captain and coach. Joshi is a level 3 cricket coach and all cricketers can benefit from his infectious enthusiasm and skill. He is firmly settled in Chagford and has a busy computer supply and repair business based in his shop in the Square. Indoor nets for the forthcoming season will commence on Sunday, March 6, to give batsmen and bowlers plenty of chance to put themselves in the frame for the season ahead. Chagford has a full fixture list with league matches on a Saturday and a considerable number of friendlies to suit cricketers of all abilities on the beautiful Chagford ground.
