PEOPLE are being urged to support the region?s only hospice that cares for children with life-limiting illnesses during a special awareness week this month. Children?s Hospice South West, which runs Little Bridge House near Barnstaple, will be marking National Children?s Hospice Week from September 16 to 24 by hosting the Big Cream Tea. More than 300 fundraising cream teas are expected to take part at homes, businesses and other locations across the South West during the week. People will pay for the privilege of tucking into scones, cream and jam with proceeds going to the hospice.
