TODDLERS, parents and staff from Rainbow-Pre School enjoyed the first of free workshops designed to inspire, motivate and stimulate children.

The Easter craft workshop, which was held in the Baptist church hall, saw children and parents take part in activities, including decorating egg cups, cards, cone puppets and chocolate nests.

The children also wore their Easter bonnets, which they created and made for the occasion.

The winners of the Easter bonnet competition were Laura Parkins, Yazmin Medlicott and Tamsin Pound.

The competition was judged by Mayor of Okehampton, Cllr David Weekes.

Rainbow Pre-School expressed thanks to Cllr Weekes for attending the event and to Somerfields, Waitrose, A L Martin and Son and Martins Newsagents, who donated some of their produce to help with the event.
