CHRISTMAS bargains galore will be on offer at a special event later this month, organised to raise money for Tavistock's Bishopsmead playpark.
The Crafty Christmas Evening will be held in the Guide Hall in Bedford car park.
Tina Hurford, of Bishopsmead Playpark Project, said: 'A variety of local craft stalls offering a selection of unique gifts and traditional presents will be available, in addition to refreshments and a raffle.'
Stallholders include Natural Nomads, who will be selling jewellery and stocking fillers, Mac McAllister who sells jelly candles, home furnishings from Ann-Marie Stones, Tupperware, Paper Fun, The Book People, Kathy Carruthers' Doughcraft and Michael Hemens, woodturner.
Tina said: 'We would like to thank friends and family for donating raffle prizes, Christmas items to sell and all the people for delivering leaflets and putting up posters advertising this event.'
Entrance to the craft evening, which begins at 7.30pm, costs £1 — all proceeds go towards building and equipping a new play area at Bishopsmead.
