RESIDENTS in Lydford have expressed thanks to West Devon borough council members Phillip Sanders and Diana Moyse, who last week came to their rescue in a time of need.

'Phillip more than once, used his 4x4, to deliver horse, animal and household supplies including water when we were frozen and snowed in,' said June, Dinie, Hannah and Verina.

'Many, many grateful thanks.'
