A MIDWEEK fixture took Okehampton to Plymouth to play a team that they had not previously encountered.
Both teams started quickly, playing attacking football but it was Okehampton who surprised the opposition by scoring in the first five minutes, Kelly Cooper hitting the back of the net at what seemed like an impossible angle.
Plymouth Argyle earned themselves a point by getting an equaliser in the first half.
Okehampton unsettled the home side by putting in a great team display.

OKEHAMPTON started brightly but Central scored first from long range. Two similar goals came from this young Exeter side, in the first half, before Kelly Cooper scored Okehampton?s only goal of the afternoon.

GIVEN the average age of the central team one would think they would have dominated, but it was not the case.
Central scored early on and the home side were always chasing the equaliser, but it never came. Another good performance, showing that playing consistently throughout the season would have benefited Okehampton?s results.
