P and WD senior division
Buckland 0
Ordulph Arms 9
ORDULPH returned to winning ways in emphatic style in this local derby after drawing their previous league games.
The visitors dominated from start to finish and the scoreline could easily have been higher.
Ordulph took the lead early in the first half when Ben Stephens slipped James Phillpotts through who fired home from close range. Phillpotts then combined well with Behennah who crossed for Stephens to make it two.
The Ordulph scored a lovely third from a well worked free kick as Stephens chipped in Hoskin who lobbed the keeper for number three. A wonderful flowing move involving Jack Payne, Phillpotts and Coole set up the fourth for Behennah to tap home. The first half finished 5-0 after a superb solo run and finish from James Coole, who later went on to claim a hat-trick.
The visitors carried on in the second half where they had finished the first and a one-two between Coole and Phillpotts allowed Coole to expertly fire home his second.
Ordulph soon had a seventh as Gliddons' cross was diverted into the net by a Buckland defender.
The visitors were playing some excellent football and were carving chance after chance. Behennah should have added to his tally on a couple of occasions, but the eighth came when Stephens teed up Coole who blasted home from the edge of the box to claim his hat-trick.
Stephens was set up by Behennah and scored his second to complete the rout.
