WITH no goalkeeper available for selection, it was stand in keeper, Conor Hall, who was Thistles' player of the match, doing his best to stop everything that was thrown at him. One down after 25 minutes Thistles quickly regained composure and excellent performances from captain, Will Lane, at centre back with Kieran Calvert, did well to keep the score down.

Jordan Quinn came on in midfield and started to impose himself winning many 50/50 challenges. Cory Hancock worked hard for Thistles but was marked out of the game by the Villa centre back. 

Elburton scored more goals in the second half, however Thistles didn't give in. Dean Lambert, George Conybeare, and Oliver Scanlan had excellent games until fatigue got the better of them.

Bradley Barbour showed promise on his debut game while Mike Henderson, Adam Cowan King and Rory Kirkman put bags of effort into the game.
