BIG band music lovers made the Dave Hankin Big Band concert in the Great Barn at Buckland Abbey a sell-out recently, raising more than £1,700 for the NSPCC.

The National Trust's Great Barn was an ideal place for the concert, which included music from Glenn Miller in the 1940s to the cutting edge compositions of today.

The event was organised by the Yelverton and district committee of the NSPCC.
