A CONCERT in Bere Ferrers this Saturday (November 12) to raise money for the RNLI will include a poem and a song written by choir members to honour the charity.

The concert will feature the St Andrew's Singers, which include members from the Bere peninsula. Bass Nelson Bowden has written a poem entitled 'The Shout' and soprano Helena Rogers has penned a song 'Thank God for Lifeboat Crews!', which will be performed on the night.

The concert is at St Andrew's Church at 7.30pm.

Guest soloist is Tyrone Piper.

Tickets are £5, available on the door, to include light refreshments.
