Tavy Club A came from two behind in Tavistock snooker league to so nearly undo some good early work by Conservative A.

Con's Lacey and Cook kept their nerve to overcome Stewart and Hoar in two low scoring close frames to make it 2-0. The Tavy come-back saw an in form Ryall inflict a rare defeat over Cons A's Carruthers, followed up by a superb potting spree from Woods who never let Longden into the game. In the decider between Tavy's Grylls and Cons skipper Folley, Folley played a captain's innings to secure the win for Con A in a hard fought close match.

Con Z were knocked off their table topping perch by West Devon A, who took their place at the top.

Kevin Rich and Emptage put WD two up with comfortable wins over Symons and Dodd only for the Con to pull back with a late comeback from Fitzsimmons. Heathman and Hawke for West Devon took the last two frames to give WD a 4-1 win.
