RESIDENTS of West Devon flocked to Tavistock Farmers' Market last Saturday and the stall run to promote National Composting Week was so successful it will be returning to the market in the near future.
Peter Kent, business manager of Tavistock and District Conservation Project, which ran the stall, said they were delighted by the response. 'It was very encouraging to see so many people making a commitment to recycling,' he said.
Compost bins, waterbutts and wormeries were available at discount prices on the stall.
