PUPILS and staff at Okehampton College were treated to sessions of comedy and science courtesy of the acclaimed MOMO Theatre Group. The performers staged their ?You?re Rubbish? show to Year 7 and 8 students at the college recently. The shows aim to encourage people to think about rubbish and what they can do to reduce, reuse and recycle the amount they throw away to help the environment. Following the productions, students will have assemblies with West Devon Borough Council recycling officers about waste issues, highlighting what can be done locally to make a difference. Andrew Barron, West Devon?s recycling education officer said: ?We need to be creative to inspire secondary school students and theatre groups enable us to fit that bill nicely.?
