FIND out how to make your home more energy efficient and get advice on conserving energy, renewable energy, wood fuel, electric vehicles and more at Transition Tavistock's Energy Savers Eco Fair this weekend, at Tavistock College. The free event on Saturday (September 20), from 10am to 4pm will provide a chance for visitors to talk to more than 20 exhibitors from around the area and listen to practical talks. The talks include information on getting to grips with energy saving, how to benefit from renewable energy and tackling the treatment of older properties and external wall insulation. You can also try out the Home Energy Check developed for Transition Tavistock by the Energy Saving Trust. Matt Harvey will also perform his energy inspired verse 'Element in the Room' just after midday.
