THE popular Tavy 7 road race is almost here again.

The event, sponsored by Mansbridge and Balment estate agents, is on Sunday November 10 starting at noon from Middlemoor, just above Whitchurch Wayfarers Cricket Club.

It covers seven relatively flat miles of moorland roads. There will also be a fun run of approximately one and a half miles which starts at 12.05pm.

Runners can also register on the day ? subject to availability of space ? at a cost of £2 extra at Wayfarers Cricket Club, Whitchurch. Due to the popularity of the race, numbers will be limited to 400. Refreshments, changing and toilet facilities will be available.

Owing to restricted parking space competitors are asked, where possible, to car-share and use Down Road, so as not to congest traffic at Whitchurch Memorial.

All finishers of the main race will receive a commemorative mug. The proceeds of the event will go to Tavistock Athletic Club.
