A FIREWORKS display and Guy Fawkes competition will be held in Mary Tavy recreation ground on Sunday, November 3.

The event is being organised by the recreation ground and the Mary Tavy Jubilee Group and will include food stalls, a cider and beer tent, a hog roast, music, games, a raffle and a bonfire with guys, in addition to the firework display.

All are welcome to come along to the fireworks night, which begins at 5pm.

Entry is free but organisers ask that people do not bring dogs or their own fireworks or sparklers.

The event has been sponsored by Mary Tavy businesses The Pool Guy, The Mary Tavy Inn and 'Mike's Your Man'.
