THIS month heralds the start of an exciting new music project for young people in and around Tavistock. TAVIROCK is for musicians aged five to 18, giving them the opportunity to play music with other people and develop their musical skills using the medium of rock music. It will be held at Tavistock Primary School at 5pm on Thursdays, starting on September 25. TAVIROCK has been organised by Tavistock Area Learning Community (TALC) and funded by Devon Music Education Hub. TALC consists of Tavistock College and the surrounding primary schools.
