AN EXHIBITION celebrating the Tamar Valley AONB's community heritage projects in 2012 will take place in Bere Alston Church Hall on the weekend of April 6 and 7.

Over the past two years Tamar Valley AONB has provided many opportunities for local people to get hands-on with their history. This exhibition celebrates the Calstock Parish Heritage Project and the 'What's in your back garden' community archaeology weekend held in Bere Alston last July.

Visitors can discover the results of the Calstock project and a selection of the best finds from Bere Alston.

Volunteers and experts will be there to share experiences, answer questions and show how to be involved in unearthing more about the history of where they live.

The exhibition runs from 11am to 5pm on both days.
