SOUTH Tawton Primary School's 'Carols around the tree' will be held tomorrow (Friday), starting at 4.30pm.

A raffle of Christmas hampers made up from donations from parents and supported with gifts from Waitrose, Taw Valley Creamery and Ambrosia will boost interest in the event and help to raise the funds for the school PTA.

Children and parents will be treated to bacon rolls, mince-pies, tea, coffee and mulled wine, served by committee members prior to the singing of carols around the tree in the playground led by headteacher Heather Poustie.

All are welcome.
