DEVONPORT kicked off, but Tavistock took the game straight back at them, using their distinctive power in the forwards and sucking in players to give room for fly half Terry Cole. Her pass went to winger Claire Kelly who scored the first try.

Good communicating between backs and forwards gave prop Rocky a chance to storm over to score one of her two tries.

Devonport seemed determined to score, but fantastic defence from Debbie Hurrell quickly stopped a threatening attack down the wing.

Tavistock kicked off the second half continuing good work from the first. Devonport failed to break the defence, who kicked the ball away for full back Zoe Colton to catch and run from her 22 through to score an excellent try.

From a five metre scrum flanker Wizz picked up the ball and forced herself over the line.

Good directing from scrum half Chris Staniland kept the forwards driving upfield for her to score.

Centre Julia Davies made a brilliant run down the wing giving Colton the opportunity to finish the move with her second try.

Kelly finished the game as she started with her second try.
