A FIRE crew was called to a collision involving one vehicle at Nichols Nymet Cross in North Tawton last Friday.

On arrival at 8.45pm, the one female casualty was free of the vehicle and being treated by ambulance personnel. The crew made the vehicle safe.

l A fire crew from Hatherleigh was called to extinguish a chimney fire in South Street, Hatherleigh on Saturday, just after 3pm.
