The quickly compiled B team, comprising Andrew Derbyshire, Jim Welland, Warren Smith, Nathan Peck, George Mills, Tom Haigh, Rob Court, Matt Hulbert and Tom Hammond, went out in the first round of the pool competition, losing to the bigger, heavier opposition of Coombe Dean and Tamarside.

The team, comprising Mark Webber, Tom Clutterbuck, Andrew Smerdon, Damian Dee, Doug Phillipson, Jimmy Hubbard, Jake Chinn, Ewen Smith and Ewan McCall, came second behind Kelly College.
