TAVISTOCK kicked off and went on the defensive. Penzance, attacking with full force, pressured them into giving away penalties, but the visitors failed to capitalise on them.

Tavistock turned over the ball with fly-half Kate Blake kicking them out of trouble.

With Tavistock back on the attack surging runs from Mandy Blackmore and TJ Webber helped create space for Terry Cole to force her way through to score.

Good lineout jumping from Wizzy helped Tavistock keep possession for full-back Zoe Colton to run through the defence to score, converted by Blake.

In the second half Penzanc again applied pressure, forcing Tavistock to give away penalties, which were converted by the opposition.

Tavistock came back with a vengeance, with prop Jacky High making a break through the centre, passing the ball out wide for Colton to score, converted by Blake.
