ST PAUL'S Church Hall in Yelverton is the place to be tomorrow morning (Friday), when a special coffee morning is being held for St Luke's Hospice.
The event is being organised by Rosamond Wixon and Sonja Cheadle, who noticed a recent article in the Times calling on local people to get the coffee out for St Luke's.
They aim for it to be a fun occasion and along with homemade cake stalls, bring and buy and raffle prizes there will be something for all the family. There will also be children's toys, a busking trumpeter, and other surprises.
Everyone is welcome, old and young, men, women and children, at the event, which runs from 10am until noon.
Rosamond said: 'St Luke's is such an important local charity, in need of massive financial support and folk should know that from every £1 raised at this coffee morning, 86p goes towards patient care.'
